It’s difficult to have a sense of identity by simply referring to yourself as a leader. With so many definitions flying around the corporate and religious world, many are drowning in a unending river of terms, stories, list of each author’s principals, with no definite example to emulate. So broad, yet only an inch deep.
The Scriptural call to be a shepherd gives us the supreme example to which answers the crisis of identity we have among pastors and leaders going deep in the Scriptures giving leadership back to the Kingdom of God.
We must look to the Scriptures first find who and what we are as leaders.
